Critical Practice

For me, there are 3 elements which are very important in design:

-research

-practice

-reflection

after getting the brief, the orgin of a design may come from a hunch, a insight along with personal interests; then background research is needed to familiar within the area one wants to explore (some drawing and observation or site mapping) also some broad reading on how to understand the brief is good; afterward, one have to start generate the design idea with specific research (ethnic, people, behavior) and detailed reading until the completion of the design proposal; at last,you can either get feedback by tutors, get feedback from your potential users or you can reflect yourself what methodology have I used, how can i shape the project better.
